MD, ICC Communication had a courtesy call to the President

President Mohammad Sahabuddin suggested that the businessmen should be committed to use the latest technology for implementing Smart Bangladesh and deliver it to the grassroots. He expressed this suggestion while speaking with Saiful Islam Siddique, Managing Director of ICC Communication Limited, a pioneering company in the telecommunication sector of Bangladesh.

It was an informal courtesy call at Bangabhaban, the official residence and the principal workplace of President of the Peoples’ Republic of Bangladesh. On Saturday, while the Managing Director of ICC Communication met President, the President recalled the tireless initiatives and works contributed by late Quamrul Islam Siddique, father of Saiful Islam Siddique, Managing Director of ICC Communication Limited. They also discussed about the development of the information and telecommunication sector of the country.

In the half an hour-long meeting, the former Senior Vice President of ISPAB, Saiful Islam Siddique hailed the leadership of a grandson of Bangabandhu and Prime Minister's son, Sajeeb Wazed Joy, who has been serving as the ICT advisor to Prime Minister. Mr Saiful also praised the Minister of State for Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak and highlighted the milestone development of the country's information technology and telecommunication sector in the past 15 years.

During the conversation, he vowed to utilize the fullest capacity of ICC Communication Limited to faithfully accomplish the responsibility assigned to implement Smart Economy, Smart Citizen, Smart Society and Smart Government in line of building Smart Bangladesh. President Mohammad Sahabuddin expressed hope that the vision of Smart Bangladesh will be implemented under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina before 2041, as the Digital Bangladesh has been implemented through the public-private joint partnership.
